Partial karyotype of six mitotic cells photographed with quinacrine fluorescence
The first pair of chromosomes in each row is the 9, with the 9q+ chromosome identified by the arrow. Note the extra band of dully fluorescing material at the end of each 9q+ chromosome. The second pair of chromosomes is the normal 22 and the Ph1 chromosome.
